The Apollo 3/4 in. x 18 in. Corrugated Stainless Steel Water Heater Connector with Ball Valve is designed for the fast and simple installation of hot and cold water lines to water heaters using Apollo Expansion PEX connections. The integrated quarter-turn ball valve is factory crimped and allows for simple flow control at the tank. To install, apply pipe thread tape to the MNPT nipples on your water heater, thread the FNPT end of the connector onto the tank, and tighten with pliers. Then make the final connection to Apollo Expansion PEX pipe or comparable cold expansion tubing using Apollo Expansion PEX sleeves or a comparable expansion-type sleeve or ring (all sold separately). The connector features a 3/4 in. brass PEX-A barb fitting on one end and a 3/4 in. FNPT connection on the other, with an 18 in. length of corrugated stainless steel tubing for flexibility in tight spaces. Item is new.
