Halo 6 in. Aluminum Recessed Lighting Remodel IC Air-Tite Housing

About this item

Bring dependable overhead illumination to finished ceilings with this Halo 6 in. aluminum recessed lighting housing. Built for remodel installations, the can slides into place through an existing ceiling opening, so there is no need for access from above, making it well suited to upgrade projects in living rooms, kitchens, hallways, and other indoor living spaces. The IC (Insulation Contact) rating allows the housing to be placed in direct contact with ceiling insulation, while the Air-Tite sealed design helps limit heated and cooled air from escaping into the attic space, supporting air-leakage code requirements. Constructed of aluminum for lasting performance, the housing accepts compatible 6 in. recessed trims, which are sold separately, letting you pair it with the trim style that best suits your space. This item ships new in factory packaging.
