About this item
The Makita XOB01Z 18V LXT Lithium-Ion Cordless 5 in. Random Orbit Sander (sold as tool only; battery and charger not included) delivers increased efficiency and mobility for woodworkers, whether you are smoothing stock in the shop or finishing trim on site. It runs up to 40 minutes on a single charge with an 18V LXT battery, so you can keep sanding without being tied to a cord. Match the speed to the application with three settings (7,000 / 9,500 / 11,000 OPM), easily selected using the one-touch electronic control switch. The large 1/8 in. random orbit action is engineered for fast material removal and a swirl-free finish, while the pad brake reduces free spin and a control system regulates pad speed at start-up for an improved overall result. The XOB01Z accepts quick-change 5 in. 8-hole hook-and-loop abrasive paper for fast, convenient grit swaps, and its ergonomic design supports comfortable extended use. Please note: this listing includes the sander body (model XOB01Z) only. 18V LXT batteries and chargers are sold separately.
