The Ridgid EZ Change Faucet Tool is a multifunctional plumbing wrench for under-sink faucet installation and removal, equally useful to professional plumbers and working homeowners. It works with common faucets, shut-off valves, supply lines and basket strainers, and its compact, handheld size clears the tight spaces found under sinks. The six-sided cubed wrench insert fits 5/8-inch, 3/4-inch, 7/8-inch, 15/16-inch and 1-inch nuts, making it suitable for supply lines and clamp nuts and for turning angle stops without marring chrome finishes. The cylindrical insert has a 5/8-inch deep-welled socket end that accommodates most single-hole faucet mountings, plus a pronged retainer end that holds 3- or 4-slot strainer baskets in place while the strainer nut is removed or installed. A hole in the side of the cylindrical insert accepts a screwdriver for extra leverage when breaking tight nuts loose. The notched end of the handle fits most common 2-, 3-, 4- and 6-tab basin mounting nuts, while the open slot on the handle clears supply lines so they can be loosened or attached.
