SoniChek Professional Sound Level Meter

About this item

The Triplett SoniChek PRO (model 3550) is a professional sound level meter designed for industrial applications where IEC651 (Type 2) and ANSI S1.4 (Type 2) standards apply. This new meter measures sound levels from 30 dB to 130 dB across a frequency range of 31.5 Hz to 8 kHz with an accuracy of ±1.5 dB (94 dB at 1 kHz). Measurement features include A and C weighting, fast and slow response times, an analog bar graph, maximum hold, and a tripod mount for stable, hands-free readings. AC/DC analog output ports let you connect the meter to a recorder or other external equipment for logging and monitoring. Compact and straightforward to operate, the SoniChek PRO suits commercial and residential work such as fire alarm testing, home theatre setup, plant maintenance, and HVAC installations. It ships complete with a microphone windscreen, AC/DC analog output cables, a USB cable (for power only), four AA batteries, and a carrying case. Founded in 1904, U.S.-based Triplett Test Equipment builds reliable, durable test instruments for the HVAC, security, electrical, telecom, and other trades. Model 3550 carries on that tradition with standards-compliant sound measurement for everyday professional use.
