Watershield Shower System foam and cement backer board hardware set includes 160 screws and 160 washers for installing foam, waterproofed backer boards over wood or metal stud walls. The 1-5/8 in. screws and 1 in. washers are ceramic coated and galvanized to help prevent rusting. Pronged washers fasten quickly to the backer board for easy, secure installation. Boards can be installed horizontally or vertically. For best results, place screws and washers 12 in. apart vertically and 16 in. apart horizontally, and create a slight depression in the board to reduce build-up at the screw. Vertical seams must be staggered. Set contains 160 screws and 160 washers; screw diameter 1.625 in.; material galvanized steel. Designed for use with all Everbilt foam, waterproofed backer boards.
