These policies are provided for transparency. They are not legal advice. Have qualified counsel review them for your specific operations.

1. Agreement

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the BTI Home website and any purchase you make from us. By placing an order or using this site, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy, Shipping Policy, and Return Policy.

Merchant: Bakroun Trading Inc. (BTI), doing business as BTI Home (“we,” “us,” or “our”). We buy new and open-package retail goods and resell them to customers in Canada and, where offered, the United States.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least the age of majority in your province, territory, or state to place an order. By checking out, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you are authorized to use the payment method provided.

3. Products & condition

We sell a wide range of brand-new and open-package items, which may include home goods, tools, lawn and garden products, snow removal equipment, furniture, electronics, automotive supplies (such as engine oil), and personal-care or hygiene products.

  • New in box: Factory-sealed or unused merchandise in original packaging, unless otherwise stated on the product page.
  • Open package: Items whose retail packaging has been opened, damaged, or is missing, but that remain unused and functional unless otherwise described. Open-package condition, included accessories, and any cosmetic imperfections are disclosed on the product page where known.
  • Final sale: Certain items may be marked final sale on the product page. Final-sale items are not eligible for change-of-mind returns except where required by law.

Product images are representative. Minor variations in colour, packaging, or model revision may occur. We strive to keep descriptions and inventory accurate; if an item is unavailable after you order, we will contact you and offer a refund or substitute where appropriate.

4. Pricing & payment

  • Prices are shown in Canadian dollars (CAD) unless otherwise stated.
  • Prices, promotions, and availability may change without notice. The price charged is the price displayed at checkout.
  • Payment is processed securely by Square. We do not store full card numbers on our servers.
  • For shipments to the United States, you are responsible for any applicable duties, taxes, and brokerage fees assessed by customs authorities.

5. Orders & acceptance

Submitting an order is an offer to purchase. We may decline or cancel an order (for example, due to inventory error, suspected fraud, pricing mistake, or shipping restrictions) and will refund any payment captured. Order confirmation email is not acceptance; acceptance occurs when we ship the order or notify you that it is ready for pickup.

6. Shipping & delivery

Shipping terms are set out in our Shipping Policy. Risk of loss passes to you upon delivery to the carrier for shipped orders, or upon pickup for in-store collection.

7. Returns & refunds

Our Return Policy explains eligibility, time limits, and how to request a return or report a defect. Statutory rights under applicable consumer-protection laws are not affected by our store policy.

8. Prohibited uses

You agree not to:

  • Use the site for unlawful purposes or to resell products in violation of manufacturer terms.
  • Attempt to interfere with site security or pricing systems.
  • Provide false or misleading order or payment information.

9. Intellectual property

Site content, logos, and design are owned by BTI or our licensors. Product names and trademarks belong to their respective owners and are used for identification only.

10. Disclaimer of warranties

Except as required by law, products and the site are provided “as is.” We disclaim implied warranties to the fullest extent permitted in your jurisdiction. Manufacturer warranties may apply to certain products and are described on the product page where available.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, BTI is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site or products. Our total liability for any claim related to an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.

Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot be excluded under applicable consumer law.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts in Ontario have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to mandatory consumer protections in your province or territory of residence.

13. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page will change when we do. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
